About Vascular & Vein Specialists of Greensboro

Vascular and Vein Specialists of Greensboro (VVS) is committed to providing comprehensive surgical and non-surgical care to the vascular patients of Greensboro and the surrounding region. We treat arterial disease resulting in reduction of stroke risk, decreasing pain in the legs and avoiding limb loss from lack of blood flow and reducing the risk of aneurysm rupture. Vein treatment primarily includes ablation of the varicose veins to decrease pain, swelling, discoloration and poor wound healing.

Our group has provided vascular surgical services to Greensboro and the surrounding region for more than 30 years. Our board-certified, fellowship trained Vascular surgeons are trained in less invasive catheter-based procedures including angiography, carotid, renal, visceral, and lower extremity angioplasty and stenting as well as laser ablation of varicose veins. We also offer the most up to date stent graft treatment of abdominal and thoracic aortic aneurysms. Our surgical training gives us the additional advantage of offering open surgical procedures for treatment of all peripheral vascular conditions. This gives us the benefit of several treatment options to give maximum benefit to each individual patient and avoids a narrow single-modality approach offered by specialists that can only offer one or the other of these modalities. Invasive procedures are only undertaken when benefit clearly outweighs risk and the patient is always involved in this decision making process.
